Dr. Graydon grew up in the Winnipeg/Oakbank area of Manitoba and attended the University of Manitoba until being accepted into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She has been practicing mixed animal veterinary medicine since 2006.
In May 2009, she began running her own clinics in St-Pierre-Jolys and Vita. Dr. Graydon enjoys practicing in a rural area and loves the variety of working with both companion and agricultural animals. In her time off, Dr. Graydon enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Kane and their 250 beef cows.

Dr. Julia Joshi spent two summers with us at Graydon Vet, so we knew we wanted her to join our team!

Growing up in Saskatoon and Winnipeg with a variety of pets, including a dog, guinea pigs, budgies, fish, and a tortoise - Dr. Julia Joshi was drawn towards veterinary medicine.
She attended the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Agriculture, and enjoyed learning about and working with agricultural animals before being accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
She enjoys the peacefulness of living in rural Manitoba. Cooking, going for runs, camping, and spending time at the cabin with her family and friends are some of her favorite activities.
Dr. Funk grew up close to Mitchell, MB on a hobby farm with horses, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. She attended the University of Manitoba in the Animal Science program before being accepted into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon.
She loves the variety of work that comes with mixed animal practice, and especially enjoys surgery and equine medicine. In her free time, Dr. Funk likes to spend time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and gardening. She loves living in the country with her variety of pets, including cats, chickens, and her horse.

Registered Veterinary Technologist
Jessee-Lee joined the GVC team in October 2015 shortly after graduating from the Animal Health Technology program at RRC. At the clinic she enjoys Dental cleanings, phlebotomy and monitoring anesthesia; her favourite being exploratory surgeries. In 2017 Jessee and her husband moved from Winnipeg to the RM of Hanover to enjoy the country lifestyle.
In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities such as quadding, snowmobiling and gardening. She currently has 2 Shih Tzu's named Bailey and Luna, 10 chickens and 2 horses; Belle and Missy.

Alyssa joined the Graydon Veterinary Corporation team in April 2018. She graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Red River College in May of 2016. In her free time, she loves to dance, read, or spend time with her friends and family. She has two cats, Ebony and Niko, and her dog Nyx.

Juliane joined the Graydon Vet team in June 2023 right after graduating from the Veterinary Technology program in May 2023. She has one dog, Charlie; and enjoys reading and hiking in her free time.

Nicol originally joined the Graydon Veterinary Corporation team in 2021 as a Veterinary Office Assistant before leaving to complete the Veterinary Technology program and returning in May, 2024. Outside of work, Nicol enjoys baking, listening to music, and watching documentaries.

Alisa has worked her way up through the Graydon Veterinary Corporation team since 2015. She enjoys working with the staff and clients at the clinic, and especially the patients! Her family includes her husband, daughter, and three dogs: Marley (a Golden Retriever), Tanner (a Shepherd/Lab mix), Teller (a Husky/Lab mix).

Carlynn joined the Graydon Vet team in November 2020. She completed her equine massage course in 2018 and is a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. She owns two dogs named Ace (border collie) and Deetz (heeler x aussie). When she is not at the clinic she enjoys riding her horses and competing at rodeos through the summer.

Eleanor has lived and worked in the Vita area for over 45 years. She owned and lived on a commercial beef farm in the Gardenton area where she raised her three daughters. Following the passing of her husband she moved off the farm and transitioned the farm to one of her daughters. Since that time she worked in people's health care but is now really enjoying working in the animal health care field. Eleanor's world is her family, especially her 5 grandchildren.

Evelyn joined the Graydon Vet team in 2024! She enjoys baking, spending time with her family and her 3 dogs; Rosie (Pomeranian X), Nola (American Eskimo), and Mocha (Chocolate Lab).

Jenessa was born and raised on a farm south of MacGregor, MB. Jenessa moved to the community with her husband, son, and dog Bella (a Rottweiler). In the summer they love going kayaking, camping, and just spending time outdoors.

Emma was born in Edmonton, Alberta but was raised in Mitchell, Manitoba. She has a passionate heart towards people and animals and she wants to help them in any way she can. In Emma’s free time she likes to draw, be outdoors, hang out with her friends, and play card games with her family. She owns a Chinese Crested dog named Rocky and her family just welcomed a Cockapoo puppy into their lives named Ruby.
